World powers actually do us Mandarin Chinese and ethnic Taiwanese (Hoklo, Hakka) a great favor by putting to rest any real threat of rise of tyrannical powers in the region in fear that that should compete with interests of long-time residing global political powers that be. The world will never forget Chun-Mei Chern 程君梅, and the backdrop of her historical era and its oppressively hypocritical socio-politics both regionally as well as globally. And that ensures that the world will never forget this history. History is won in a big way. I will be writing up a biographical account of my younger sister Chun-Mei (other books will follow) in both English as well as Mandarin to show why that is so.
